The Sundarbans is a mangrove area in the delta formed by the confluence of the Ganges, Brahmaputra and Meghna Rivers in the Bay of Bengal. It spans from the Hooghly River in India’s state of West Bengal to the Baleswar River in Bangladesh.

Hotel – Royal Sundarban Wild Resort or similar
In the morning, we will pick you up from your hotel/railway/airport Kolkata as per your convenience and drive straight to Gathkhali jetty, which is about 125 kms. On the way, we will pass through beautiful countryside’s, rural bazaar with stopovers at Local Tea shop and Fishermen’s’ villages. On arrival in Gathkhali, You will be transferred to motorized boat. Arrival at Jharkhali, Check – in to the Resort. And refresh with a welcome drinks. Then move to visit Jharkhali watch tower for viewing wild life, Tiger rescue centre for viewing Famous Royal Bengal Tiger and then visit to Butterfly garden and witnessing scenic Sun setting on the juncture of River Matla and Herobhanga.
Early morning we will start Boat Safari (8 Hrs) & Jungle soaring through small Creeks (Breakfast & Lunch on the boat), Covering Sajnekhali Watch Tower, Museum, Mangrove Interpretation Centre, Crocodile & Olive Ridley Turtle Pond, Sudhanyakhali Watch Tower, Mangrove nursery.Dobanki Jungle Camp (496 mtr Adventurus canopy walk inside the jungle). Also visit the Spotted Deer Rehabilitation Centre. After which we cruise through Bidya Sea Face – back through the 5 river junction – to Jharkhali. Dinner. *Timing may very depending upon tide.
After hot morning tea followed by the breakfast, we will leave for guided village walk in which participants are encouraged to have a close interaction with the local villagers in order to encounter about their livelihood. Later, we will proceed for guided adventure journey by manually-oared country boat followed by a short travel to DoBanki watch tower to enjoy a small canopy walk. In the afternoon, return back to your jungle resort for lunch and thereafter, proceed to Gathkhali. On arrival at Gathkhali, transfer you back to Kolkata by car. Arrive Kolkata and transfer to your hotel or airport.
